Angels Poem by Jorge Arturo Valles Anguiano

Angels

Rating: 5.0

I used to fly,
I used to be an angel,
then I got shot by a hunter,
I fell in the middle of darkness,
I couldn't fly, one of my wings were hit,
then I remember I was asking for help,
I felt like no one would come to save me.

I waited for hours there,
and it was become more dark,
I started to see eyes everywhere,
and then I noticed that my wings were turning black,
I was scared,
I was loosing hope...

At point of dying,
I remember that someone came,
she was crying and smiling,
she looked as my saviour,
my love,
my angel,
after this I fell sleep.

Then I woke up on my bed,
it was all a dream,
but that face...,
I will remember it,
even if it was a dream.

Years later,
I was already on highschool,
then I saw that strangely familiar face,
I started to talk to her,
she asked me to stay a little with her after class,
she said she wanted me to tell something.

After class,
I went to where she was sitting,
and she told me about this dream,
then I told her that I dream the same,
that I dream with her face,
after that she smiled and cried a little.
