Angels Don'T Fly

Rating: 2.5
In the shiniest days I've seen it,

Beautiful as the sunshine,
With a smile that brightens any darkness,

With wings that can carry the world into a better place.

With time it's light was fading away,

However she could still show me the way,

Instead I choose my other path,

Because the right was not meant to be,

Two different steps,

Two different ends,

Two different compass,

On destiny that won't be fulfilled.

As time past byI asked her why,

Why don't you fly away,

Her simple answer,

'My wings are not meant to fly.

You put your faith in something wrong,

You have been deceived by my beautiful mascarade,

However you still hold my hands,

Hoping that you could fly with me.

I wish you could see my world,

I wish U could walk my path,

Even though it's not the right one,

This is where I belong.'

So I tried to fly with her,

But the burden inside me broke her wings.

And now that she ain't no angel in my sight,

Now it is when she can fly.

Walking my own path I realize, Angels don't fly...
