Anger Poem by Dyami KelleyClark

Anger

Burning fires
Silent rages
Twisted metal
Making cages
Flames and heat they scorch my heart
Tender feelings turn to rocks
Sharpened egdges pierce and gnash
Pointed words within me clash
Rooms once bright reduced to ashes
Just a paper house it flashes
Eaten by this angry deamon
Nothing left for me to grieve in

Inside my burning heart I sit
I have not tried to leave this pit
My heart tells me I'm justified
It stokes my feelings with its lies
I tell myself that I am right
For pointless things I stand and fight

Smoke and fire cloud my mind
Blackening your heart and mine
