Anglo - Saxons

Rating: 4.0

The nature of the above
and maybe the too-wide scope
of the poets of ancient Greece and Rome
have them calling their poets 'skops'.

Anglo-Saxons might think it best
to shorten poet scope to jest.
A skop is a jester
(as sure as Glenda's my Schwester.)
