Anniversary Of A Death Poem by Adeline Morris

Anniversary Of A Death

You sit in your white leather chair.
The pale expression on your face
whispers 'farewell' and fades away.

Anniversary of a death.

And I think she still cries everyday,
three years and counting.

You're smiling at the horn solo.
I can see your gaze
as it shoots through my eyes.
