Bail - Poem by Adeline Morris

Destroy every promise,
deny every fault.

Watch as a nation will suffer, die.

Use us.
Depress us entirely.

Democracy?

You are not worth it.
Brutality.
Oblivion.
Poverty.
Sorrow.

Ah, What a real expression of want or desire for the better life can be felt here.
