Another Face In The Crowd - Poem by DJD Quick/dd
Individualist
I'm unique
Unlike some girls
I'm not chic
I'm away from the crowd
I'm separate from similiarity
You won't see me
Sitting in the middle of the ceremony
From a distance, their faces are just a blur
But my face isn't in a swirl
I could just be another face in the crowd
But I choose not to be
Because I'm an individualist
I'm unique
I'm ME!

Hell yeah, all the power to YOU! ! ! Most kids our age try to 'fit in' and 'be cool.' Glad to see y'ain't one of 'em. (Report) Reply
A very potent dedication to one's individuality - to stand out rather than to fade in. A nice read.
