Another Life Poem by Deb Fowler

Another Life

Rating: 2.7

I have not eaten for
I feed on thought
wild, hungry gnawing
consuming mind and body.

I have not slept
for I do not tire
of you

I have prayed
that you would go
then
pray that you stay

my heart sings
my mind races
as fantasies
beg to be fulfilled

I try to be strong
resist you...

resist me.
