A bell rings, but I would rather stay.
I board an early bus in an array,
Escape before I have to change
For a reason I loved.
I walk a distance,
Crossroads I turn right in silence.
But how easily would I turn left
And see what I loved.
I kick a pebble to my home
And sit by a screen in my syndrome
As the sun sinks so slowly
Waiting for someone I loved.
Before I sleep,
I wish I didn't have to wait
For another lonely day.
