I've learned my lesson though it hurt my pride.
This wounded memory wears like a scar.
They say time will heal
but they don't know how I feel.
I'm walking in the dark alone
it's taught me something...
changed my point of view
I need you more now than I did before
I keep fighting for my life
blowing like a leaf in the wind
been wronged in every way
led the way, heard the call;
my answer lays waiting...
