~answered Prayer~ Poem by broken soul.. No more

Quietly I whispered your name to God
And he said, “My dear he is mad.”
I asked Him why, what went wrong?
He said someone hurt him all along
So I prayed hard that he would ease
The pain in your heart that you can’t cease
But He told me He can’t because it’s not my fault
It’s somebody else’s that’s what He thought
So, I asked Him again, “Can I make him smile? ”
You know what He said? Just go and it’s all worthwhile
I questioned Him how; He said it’s up to me
Just do my best and He’ll be beside me
So I looked for you, but you’re nowhere to be found
I almost lose hope; I keep on coming back on the same ground
So I took my pen and write this for you
And hope that you would know that I’m worried about you
Then I closed my eyes, and I’m about to sleep
But an angel wake me up and wink
She said that you’re fine I should not worry
And that makes my heart jump in ecstasy
So, I talked to God again, and thank Him for it
And He took my hand as He speak
“Little child I’m happy that you take your stand
Now he’s standing on the safer ground”
“But don’t hope too much for he can’t be yours
Someone’s meant for him, but you also have yours”
And then I said, its fine with me if I can’t have you
Because in my heart, I will always be with you
Now that my prayer has been heard
I can now sleep with calmness in my head
And tomorrow if I wake up, I could see the sun again
And the smile on your face, it will forever remain.
