The Wilkins Ice Shelf is located on a coast of Antarctica.
This is a map of a 50 kilometer long section of it.

It looks like a painting. But it's a map. It's real.

Note the engineering prowess along the shore of the crystal lake
in the bottom left corner. We are not alone. We never were.
