You said, you walked away sad
Thinking that I was mad
You were sorry for what you said
You just said, what came to your head

You wanted me to know
All day long you felt so low
You wished with all your heart
That we didn’t have to part

The only thing I’d like to say
Is I love you more each passing day
I’m telling you right now
No matter what you do or say
It will always be that way

As I drove away from you
I looked into my rear view mirror
All the love that I was feeling for you
To me, could not have been any clearer
