As frothy waves embrace the seashore
And garland it with seashells and pebbles
Under the starlit raven sky,
I feel to embrace my love
And imprint her with a kiss
In a night like this.

But now I’m struggling on the fishing boat.
Alone in the hut; she is in deep thought.

As palm trees along the shore line
Cast their shadows on the golden beach
Under the crimson sky,
I feel to look in to her eyes
And seek love in their depths
In a dusk like this.

Instead I’m waving her goodbyes.
Not love but pain is shown in her eyes.

As the first sun rays of the daybreak
Flow with the current to the salty sand
Under the golden sky,
I feel to hold her hand
And look toward the far horizon
In a dawn like this.

But near the horizon I am alone.
She is awaiting me with an anxious moan.

And walk with her holding hand in hand to the ever approaching eternity I am with her in mind and soul But alas! in body I am alone. A sublime love craving for the deep dip into the universal soul. Your poem weaves a superb imagery very well carried till the end withperfect flow and rhythm. It is classic. Love, CP
