Apocalypse (The Day After) Poem by Aleksandra Radojicic

Apocalypse (The Day After)

In the air full of calmness
suddenly there is darkness,
one printing error in a letter,
a kitten rolled over by the car
laying dead on the street.
Tap has no water
and the sky is dark, too.

Here she comes from nowhere,
without carrying anything.
She was bare footed,
full of blood,
timeless,
and above all
empty from inside.
