Apocolypse Poem by Ivy Wilburn

Apocolypse

Can't you hear them?
The angels are sighing
Drops of rain
They're crying, dying
Can you see it?
My heart is bleeding
As I bleed
It's barely beating
Can't you feel it?
The world is ending
Questions asked
Answers pending
Can you taste it?
The blood in the air
Yours, the world's
It's everywhere
Tinting the sky
A dangerous red
Like the eyes of the monsters
Beneath your bed
