I could apologize
Forever and a day
But you still
Wouldn't look my way.

How many times
Must i say it?
What will it take
For you to believe it?

Don't you get it?
He didn't love you!
If he did, he'd be with you
Not me!

Don't you see?
How happy he makes me?
With him,
You just weren't meant to be.

I'm sorry,
But I love him,
And he loves me!

I didn't want
To hurt you,
You know that's true!
But he loves me!
Not you!
