Apple Blossom Poem by Clairabella Shoens

Apple Blossom

A spindly tree
Reaching high into the heavens
Delicate Branches searching the sky for warmth.
A small bud on the tip of each twig
Searching for love from the sun,
A small bee buzzes past the bud
And a new life begins.
Slowly the shell peels back and petals spring out
Inside tiny pollen covered pistols pop out
A pink shade covers the flower.
Slowly a fruit starts to grow
Round, juicy, and a brilliant red,
soon it becomes heavy and falls off the blossom.
It starts yet again
The beautiful, majestic life of the,
Apple blossom.
