Bird Song Poem by Clairabella Shoens

Bird Song

When I was little, I roamed in meadows
The grass was a cushion beneath my feet
The sun sparkling in a sea of blue.
A light breeze flowed through the trees,
A song filled the air.
Chirps, and tweets of birds
Expressing happiness
A life of flying in the sky.
Being a symbol of love
Many adore you
All goes quiet when you sing.
How I want to be a bird, so that I may sing,
a Bird song
