Joy and happiness can be found in so many things,
The sound of a baby's laughter,
The beauty of freshly fallen snow,
The whisper of a gentle stream flowing towards the ocean,
A brilliant sunrise at the dawn of a new day,
Or the calming sunset after a stressful one,
Taking the time to really look at the clouds passing overhead,
Or to see all the colors and hues of a rainbow,
To feel the warmth of the summer sun on your face,
Or the sand from your favorite beach between your toes,
The Love you feel for all you are close to,
Or the soft kiss upon your cheek from the Love of your life,
Taking the time to stop,
And appreciate all that you really have,
All that you can see and smell and touch,
Can make even the darkest of days,
A gift to be cherished always.
