April Showers Bring May Flowers (Ballad)
The rain fell
As I said goodbye
To my winter love
He said to me
April showers bring May flowers
The next year
as I sighed
because I had lost another love
He came back up to me
and asked me
Were the flowers beautiful?
As I gave my answer, no
I thought back to the spring before
Of the times I had
Some great, some bad
and realized
that he was right
all along
