When you go to Arches National Park
You truly are in the middle of rock paradise
Red rock is simply everywhere you look
And you want to see everything at least twice
Like statues carved carefully by the Gods
Teetering precariously up thousands of feet
It seems like you are part of ancient times
Oh my, I must say it is simply a treat
Clear azure sky is the lovely backdrop
As the carvings loom high up above
It’s as if God has created this special rock
And you can tell that he did it with love
And the arches just don’t seem possible
As you gaze at the half circle of art
I will forever remember with a smile
The vacation where red rock was a part!
