Are We Remembered? Poem by Derek Spoonmore

Are We Remembered?

Men are haunted by the vastness of eternity
And so we ask ourselves
Will our actions echo across time
Will strangers hear our names long after our bones turn to dust
And wonder who we were
How bravely we fought
And how fiercely we loved

Are we remembered? Yes, but someday we wouldn't be unless we've done great and history acknowledges our works like those grear heroes.
