Biding our time
Lying in wait
To seize control of our destinies
To commandeer the vessel of our fate
To decide our own course
To determine our own lives?

Are we the waiting?

Watching and waiting
Hoping and praying
To make the right decisions
To make the necessary changes
To dropp the habits
To cast off the chains?

Are we the waiting?

For the perfect moment
For the ‘right time’
To say that word
To take that risk
To tell that one person
To give that kiss…

Are we the waiting?

For when it will ‘feel right’
For when we’ll ‘be ready’
To stand up and be counted
To use our talents
To make someone of ourselves
To rise up and do something…
