Are you a dream, or shadow in the glade,
That walks through golden fields where sunlight glows?
In dew-kissed winds, your trembling forms cascade,
The river bends and greets your gentle flows.
At sunset's edge, the rainbow slowly dies,
The tired sky turns pale, the evening sighs.
Then you do rise as morning in my eyes,
And leave your quiet music where it lies.
The sun's first rays drift softly through the pane;
Your tender touch revives my hidden fire.
They warm the earth and sweep away the rain,
And lift my soul with hope that climbs up higher.
O come, eternal, ever-new, my light;
You hold my spirit, endless as the night.

Thanks for sharing this contemplative and romantic Shakespearean sonnet.
A light in the night and dream in the day! She fills my thoughts both day and night!
