Are You Dreaming Poem by Rik Bertrand

Are You Dreaming

I have followed you into the dusk
Wanting to know your ways,
You are beautiful and mysterious
And I want to know your days.

You stand motionless in the night,
Looking up through the trees
Your thoughts seem far away
Your hair flows with the gentle breeze.

Are you dreaming my love?
Is that what you do here?
Do you dream of sweet love,
And the one you hold dear.

There are birds in the trees,
They carry a tune
To match your sweet swaying
As you gaze at the moon.

So lovely you are,
As you wish on that star,
So beautiful the night is
As you dream from afar.

Are you dreaming my love?
Is that what you do here?
Do you dream of sweet love,
And the one you hold dear.
