Hmm....to hold another's life in your hands and be responsible for that life? Unless it is a case of Mother/child I think that's a huge responsibility. It's a huge responsibility in a parent /child relationship also but in that case you made the choice and so it is your job to do everything you can to ensure the happiness and well being of the child.
