Are u still d way u were,
When I had to……………..
Leave you behind…..! ?

My town is far away,
From your home,
And may be,
From my home too….!

But do you know?
Now at nights,
The skies are set ablaze
And the stone-chips…..just meltdown,
As raindrops strike this earth……
In this one-way lane,
So close…
To your home.

And somewhere,
At the hinterland of a confused mind
A non-plussed brook
Freezes……deep and thick in ice
When out of nowhere
A stranger comes this way.

Are you still mine?
Oh! I had to leave you there….

This town is all lit up
Yet my eyes are moist with pain;
Just like that of a ball of fire
Vanishing from the sky…

Won’t you forgive? ....
Forgive me? ....
If, sometime, I do the wrong…..?
