Arise Poem by Dan Leaver

When someone near you suddenly dies,
you feel the darkness fill your skies.
Then slowly you will realize,
that you have said your last goodbyes',
the last time you looked in their eyes.
You hit your knees and start your cries,
perhaps you even verbilize
the way it feels so deep inside.
Your mind confuses and denies,
it brings resentment and dispise.
Your time will slowly harmonize,
the strength returns and you will rise.
So just be patient while you try,
you wont understand, so don't wonder why.
