Arise Victorious Poem by Michael P. Johnson

Arise Victorious

See those coming, running from war
Doubting, fearing pain
Once when hardship opens its door
And facts begin to reign

Truth's often danger to progress
Facts confuse souls lost
Where countless fail sin to confess
At such enormous loss

Though Jesus is always neigh
Enemies plain can see
Without our living God on high
They'll flee from victory

Faith is Heaven's gift to man all
Knowledge to open eyes
Strength to each unwilling to fall
Salvation's true and wise

Stand up for Jesus, look to the cross
Christ's triumphs plainly true
No one will ever suffer loss
Neither will me and you

Watching those coming, those who ran
Though sore, may devil's sting
Standing true every brave, man
Victories song will sing

Truth is Life's power Life's glory
Death's a cowards way out
Heeding well salvations story
There'll be no place for doubt

With men, women, children too
To rip hell's standard down
Faithful Christ Jesus, faithful called to you
Arise with ring, and crown.....
