Arp! Arp! Arp! Maybe hold me tight?
Arp! Arp! Arp! Beside you is one warm space,
Arp! Arp! Arp! Close to your loving face.

Arp! Arp! Arp! Cuddle me please
Arp! Arp! Arp! Get rid of my fleas
Arp! Arp! Arp! A bone snack will do—
But the best part is being with you.

Without me beside you
Arp! Arp! Arp! sounds like a cry
A soft sound, a quiet call
as lonely as 'goodbye'
