Ars Scribendi Poem by Brett White

Ars Scribendi

The flames of passion burn brightly in me,
My heart's been immolated by Destiny.
Forever on a quest to seek more in life,
I welcome each new dawn in peace or strife.
For life fades away like birdsong at dawn,
So adorn your Soul like a king not a pawn,
Keeping your head high when hurting the most.
For God rewards the lowliest of souls,
Who make seeking His Grace their loftiest of goals.
So embrace solace in the simplest of things,
Like a halo'd moon who is spreading its wings,
To fly eternally leading the stars,
Showcasing a beauty which time never mars.
