I have this high-blown philosophy.
I think all it’s good for is explaining away
My failure to become
An artist.

It includes everything...
Simply everything I might do is encompassed
By my artful philosophy.

It gives me an out,
You see, I just can’t say no.
Philosophy is so useful.
Now I don’t really have to DO anything!
And everyone thinks I’m an artist
Because I spout artful philosophy
About art in general
And art in particular.

Yes, I’m an artist.
