I feel my uniqueness drifting away,
I see my thoughts n wisdom shying away,
My life and work consumes me,
My soul's crying out loud
It needs the nurturing and the teachings that my art bleeds

My soul needs its sanctuary
My soul needs the serenity
But time,
Time is against me, time is running away from me
Let me go to my special place
On top of the sea, where I drain my energy
And peacefulness
Where land meets water,
The waters which gives us life
Let me be rejuvenated and revived

So I will reach for my pen' n paper,
If not my pencil and scribble book,
Let me be the scribe, the messenger
Let me be the writer,
Let me express what I feel n how I feel
I will not say it or praise it out loud for that I am no praise singer...

Imbong' yomthomnyama
Indanduluka iqabele'ndabeni
Ingene emxholweni
Imbong' yomnthonyama igqithisusana kunina
Imbong' yomthonyama isisthunywa sabaphantsi…
Ungandibuzinto nam andazi
Ndigqithisa endikuthunyiweyo zezam izazi...

For that I have said I am no praise singer...

Ndibhala okusentlizyweni, endikuphuphileyo
Ndibhala ekusengqondweni, endikuthunyiweyo, Nendikucingileyo
Ndiztyandigila ngoba lendabingaphakathi inzima

Give me my pen n paper
So I can address this matter
I cannot say it out loud
Coz I have a soul to nurture


My soul needs the serenity
But time,
Time is against me, time is running away from me
Let me go to my special place

For that I embrace Mother Nature and the gifts of life
I embrace my belonging nentsusa yam
I embrace my gift
If not?

I am what I right and I right what I am..
