Shattered heart and broken spirit,
A heart with aches and a mind with doubts,
My love so sheltered and limited,
That was all before u I had you in my life

I can be so hard to please n so ignorant at times,
But I believe u soldiered on ignored my flaws,
You came along n broken down my walls,
Little by little u have rejoiced this heart of mine,
Time after time u have proven that love can be so kind and genuine,
I love you, that's my confession…

And being with you for just a while
Shadows vanish with your smile
Feeling the warmth of your touch
Has become to mean very much
Like the calming of the sea
Being with you means much to me.
