As a writer what gives you joy?
First of all, finishing a work gives a great relief,
Then getting it published,
And lastly, seeing someone reading it,
Trying to understand & observing it.
This whole process gives joy.
In the pages the words itself are lifeless,
When someone utters them,
The words become alive.
And the writers also become alive.
As a writer I think,
No matter how simple or tiny,
Works give you a chance to live long,
Gives your ideas & thoughts a road to pass on,
I hope that's enough for a writer.
Rest is up to the readers,
How they react, how they care
Or how they view it.
Lastly,
I encourage all
To write, to express
And to enjoy the process,
Without thinking much about what may happen next!
