In affinity, like in marriage,
The conception of love occurs -
The agent of universal synthesis
Linking, drawing elements together
As if magnets and metals.
Not only synagogues are holy,
But also abodes where people
Share the same values, unified as one.

The physical bodies may be separated,
But the heart is a singular entirety.
In a world that is bound to be heartless,
There is a sanctuary, a refuge, a haven,
Like nature's amazing masterpiece,
Most dependable in the strongest storm,
Where my past is understood. My future,
Believed in. My self, accepted as it is.

The greatest happiness in life is remembering
A family portrait that father carried in his wallet
That has replaced where his money used to be.
Through these many years, many things changed;
But I will always know by heart where I began,
And where I shall end – family.
Never lose the oneness.
