As Hell Burns Poem by Buglet ~

As Hell Burns

As I watch this scene,
Gray skies
And fields of fire,
I wonder if God
Was truly a liar.
He told me to behave,
To conform,
To lead.
He forced me in my place,
Bound by chains and fire.
I was to be an equal,
God and me alone.
So I took my stand,
But to hell he banished me
With my merry band.
Now we roam the earth alone,
Chains like weights we dragged,
But this did not deter me,
For I had my master plan.
And as I watch from hell,
Atop my burning throne,
I cannot tell,
If earth was hell alone.
