As I Drown Poem by Andrew dey

As I Drown

Rating: 3.5

Many things that have been unsaid, why do i have to wait?
I'm hoping only for a small crevice of happiness although you let me down every time.
why do I hold my breath? why do I have to wait only for you to let me down? As if this where something new to me.
Don't break my heart don't break my life, I've been holding on for so long only to have my lungs filled with water at the end. melting further and further into a dark oblique that I could never escape without your hand. I love, I will die for you.
