As I Give Myself To The Day............

i am ready for the new day,
see how the darkness sheds,
as dawn opens her petals to me,
the saffron sun rising,
in its bloody reds,
born again,
there is no trepidation,
or fear today,
only a readiness
a sweet absolution
as i give myself,
to the day........
