It's easy to be born,
to live and die,
to pass through life
as if no-one cares.
to close your eyes
to the future,
and live the moment.
To dodge the challenge
of building dreams,
and avoid the painful pleasures
of making them come true.
To live life as if no-one cares.
To find the sloping paths in life,
live it as fast as you can,
and meet its sharp curve,
one day, look back and realise
how short it has all been,
close your eyes in shame,
realising how little has been achieved,
and soon realise that,
no-one actually cares.
All a paradox, just like a dream,
seemingly long,
but actually short,
too short even to remember.
