As It All Collides Poem by Char Pattrick

As It All Collides

Rating: 5.0

As the moonlit beam crosses my window
While the clouds float away from here
As the dust settles and rain starts
While time slowly drifts on by there
As it all collides

As the stars shine in the heavens
While things of earth drift away
As the angels descend in abundance
While the slumber and dreams sway
As it all collides

As the animals lay sleeping quietly
While owls are awakened by night
As the shadows stand still for now
While nightmares enchant nightlight
As it all collides

As the storm arises on the horizon
While history repeats itself nightly
As horror and fear creep on in
While you sleep just so slightly
As it all collides

As your dream mingles with reality
While you slumber and drift there
As you heart races and thumps
While you hear and blankly stare
As it all collides

As your mind it taunted and teased
While your soul is stripped from you
As your body writhes against it all
While heartfelt terror will continue
As it all collides

As night takes its hold once more
While you know this horrid fear
As you beg again to be left alone
While you hope this is the last tear
As it all collides

As it makes or breaks you!

AS it alll collides, take yourself to your favourite place, feel the sun on your face and envisage every detail of the woman you love. You will sleep soundly in her ethereal arms till dawn charms the bird to your window once more. Just a thought from Tai...amazed and inspired by this fine freedom flowing poem. Smiling at you
