As Long As I Sense You Near Me Poem by David Boyce

As Long As I Sense You Near Me

As long as I sense you near me,
I fear nothing bad,
I feel the loss inside,
Living without you dad.

I feel a little shiver,
As I sense you near,
I feel so protected now,
And I have nothing to fear.

As days go by without you,
In my solitary mind,
You were taken away too early,
And this world is so unkind.

In my heart I will always miss you,
But I try not to be too sad,
Because we had some great memories,
Whilst I was with my dad.
