As We Touch Poem by a nobody named maui

As We Touch

Rating: 5.0

As you touch me with your eyes
And burn into my very core
I know we will remain timeless
More than one night, but forever more.

Walk gently amongst my temple
Touch the silks of our mortal selves
Cherish and protect our love
I am your slave, and your mistress.

Speak softly of tomorrows
Guard my heart and keep it close
Creation speaks profoundly
As you touch me, making us whole.

Let me sing to you of sweetness
My voice rings with the sound of my soul
The notes will carry all my heartfelt vows
As I meld softly into your bones.

Let me safely guard your secrets
Never will I betray your trust
Tonight, our touch will be salvation
To shield us both against the storms.
