As You Sleep Poem by Rex-mayor Ubini

As You Sleep

Let me whisper you a secret
A funny secret but it’s real.
And I care not if you lip it
to the birds or to the air.
This I know it hasn’t flashed
for once into your eyes.
Noses and air will fast flee
when your hair its dirty stinks
but it perfumes love to me.
So I nose my face to it.
I deep my nose in it,
as you back me
as you sleep.
