As You Walk Pass Poem by Matthew Edan Oliver Palma

As You Walk Pass

Rating: 5.0

My heart throbs
as you walk pass
Hoping for a glance
A moment in a chance
… but you never looked my way

my soul cries out
as you walk pass
hoping you would hear
know that I am near
… but you never turned my way

my mind grows numb
as you walk pass
why are you so cold?
Why can’ t I be bold?
Have all my words been taken?

Speak what'’ s in your mind
Spill what’ 's in your heart
And let our souls be mended

For I cannot bear the pain
This sorrow in the rain
Or let love die in silence

I looked at you
As you walked pass
Hoping you would know
Hoping you would feel
But still…..
You kept your silence.
