Lost To Me Poem by Matthew Edan Oliver Palma

Lost To Me

Rating: 5.0

lost to me is the sound of your voice
'though I've heard it a thousand times before
lost to me is the feel of your touch
'though I've felt it a hundred times and more
lost to me is the warmth of your love
'though for so long it has held me to my core

and 'though I tried to imagine it
I don't see it anymore
there's but the sound of my tears
echoing from a distant empty shore

Nice description of emotions after being deceived in love. An impressive write.
