Ashley Poem by Anisa Tara

Ashley

There dwelled one by the ash tree,
Melodies of love did she sing.
She penned her rhymes for one,
And sang them into the wind.

I dropped by the ash tree today,
Having laid its dweller to rest.
I hear that song on the wind,
And feel every note in my chest.
