Asleep Poem by T. Alfred Norman

Asleep

Full moon shines and fades
beyond all the sweetest yesterdays-
once whispered as I stared at my reflection
In the pale lit ocean eyelids - Heightened
irises, creations of azure exposed of cobalt
core.

Our pendulum reaches maturity in time -
Now sleep eternal single suspense as Ether's
Breeze still thy fate in swirly vivid dreams.
About your opposite oblivion filled in fragrant bliss
on wings of a beloved
Aquarius.

Peering stars wave settling peace
above life, time, place beneath. In second moment
your beloved breaths in dark oblivion, toned in eclectic
beams of wisdom sheltering storms -
Awakened.
