Asperity Of Life Poem by Zachary Hoyt

Asperity Of Life

Rating: 5.0

[verse 1]
The many faults of the human race.
Bring us down inside.
Unable to fix problems we must.
We begin to rust.
When the rain comes.
We can't move.
We slowly decay inside.
The pours in our skin divide.

[chorus]
The race soon reduced to nothing.
Everything around desiccating.
We get disposed into the soil.
History repeats again.

[verse 2]
We can't be saved.
We can't be preserved.
Wishing we could be in the immaculant world.
Instead our carcasses lie in the crust.
We get swallowed by the minipulator.
Now we are the diluted ones.
Now we are six feet under.
Now we are the unlimited number.
